Which cards work, and tips for cards that sometimes fail.

You pay for a trip with a credit or debit card. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe, and hosts never see your full card number.
Choosing a card
- A credit card is the most reliable choice, because it handles authorization holds and deposits best.
- Some debit, prepaid, and virtual cards do not support authorization holds, or they tie up cash while a hold is in place.
- Pay for the whole trip with your own card. Do not pay a host directly, outside Seifly.
Adding or changing a card
At checkout, choose Add or Change next to your payment method. Your card is checked when you save it. If you need to change the card on a trip you have already booked, message support through the trip.
