How Seifly verifies guests and hosts

The checks we run on people and what we do not promise.

Guests

Every guest completes a one-time identity check before their first booking, matching a government photo ID and driver’s license to their account with a selfie and liveness check. Where the law permits, we may also review driving history and other records.

Hosts

Hosts verify their identity and phone number, upload vehicle documents (title or registration and proof of insurance), and provide the license plate and VIN. Listings are reviewed before they go live.

What verification is not

We do not endorse any car, user, or user background, and we do not promise any particular screening process. Hosts are solely responsible for a car being safe, roadworthy, and legally registered. Use the inspection tools and your own judgment at every pickup.

Each trip is documented

Trips include photo check-ins from both sides, saved with time stamps, which help resolve disputes quickly. See Check-in and pickup.
