Host identity and phone verification
Why hosts verify, and how your data is protected.

Guests trust a host with their safety and their money, so hosts are verified too. You will be asked to confirm your mobile number with a one-time code, add a profile photo, and complete the same identity and license check that guests do.
Seifly and our verification providers may process face-geometry data during that check. We use it only to verify identity and license, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties. See the biometric data policy.
We may ask you to re-verify from time to time.
