How hosting on Seifly works

From listing your car to getting paid, in one page.

Updated October 10, 2026

Hosting means sharing your car with verified guests for a price you set. You stay in control of when the car is available, where it is handed over, and the rules for each trip. Seifly handles the listing, verification, payments, inspections, and support.

The host journey

  1. List your car. Add its details, photos, documents, and price. See Listing your car.
  2. Choose an earnings plan. This sets your share of each trip and your deductible. See Choosing an earnings plan.
  3. Get approved. The team reviews your listing, documents, and photos, usually within 1–2 business days.
  4. Receive requests. Accept or decline trip requests from your dashboard. Guests are only charged after you accept. With Instant Book turned on, guests book automatically and you are notified.
  5. Hand over the car. Check the guest’s license and complete the check-in inspection together.
  6. Get the car back. Complete the check-out inspection. Report any damage within 48 hours.
  7. Get paid. Earnings are paid out through Stripe after the trip is completed with no open disputes.

Your host dashboard

Everything is under the host menu: Bookings (activity, upcoming, past), Inbox (messages), Vehicles (listings, calendar, co-hosts, claims), Business (earnings, reviews, tax forms), and Owner Settings (pickup and return hours, Tesla and toll accounts, other settings).
