Host and vehicle requirements

You

• You must be at least 21 years old.
• You must verify your identity and mobile number.
• You must own the car or have the right to share it for pay. If it is financed or leased, check that sharing it does not break your agreement with the lender.
• You must carry your own auto insurance that meets legal minimums, and keep your registration and proof of insurance in the car.

Your car

• In safe mechanical condition and legally registered for public roads.
• A clean title: not salvage, branded, washed, or written off.
• No open safety recalls.
• Fewer than 200,000 miles on the odometer when you list it.
• No illegal modifications, and not reported missing or stolen.
• Street legal where it is shared.

You also agree to

• Make the car available on time and only to approved drivers.
• Keep listings accurate and honor the price you quote.
• Remove any firearms or other weapons and your personal belongings before every trip.
• Not collect extra documents or run your own background checks on guests. You may check their driver’s license for the handoff.
