When a guest asks to extend or shorten a trip
How to respond, and why to keep the agreement in Seifly.
Updated October 10, 2026
Extending
- Check your calendar for the extra days, and for any gap you need before the next trip.
- If you agree, make it clear in the trip messages and make sure the change is properly approved through Seifly.
- If you say no, tell the guest early so they can plan to return on time.
Shortening
If a guest asks to return early, you decide. A guest only gets money back for the unused days if you approved the shorter trip before they returned the car. See the cancellation policy.
Keep the conversation in Seifly messages. Support relies on it if there is a disagreement.
