When a guest reports a travel delay

Flight or train delays: what you are expected to do, and how you are paid.

Updated October 10, 2026

When a guest tells you about a flight or train delay, make a good-faith effort to move the pickup, and keep the conversation in Seifly messages.

  • If a new time works, nothing changes.
  • If no new time works and the trip is cancelled, you may be paid as for a guest no-show.
  • If you do not try to accommodate the guest, you receive nothing.

Guests should tell you at least one hour before the start, and delays announced more than 3 days ahead are not covered, since there is time to rebook.
