If the car is towed or impounded

1. Confirm it was towed and not stolen. Call the local parking authority or the number on the nearby signs. If it was stolen, see If the car is stolen or goes missing.
2. Tell your host and report it through Trip support straight away.
3. Ask where the car is, what it will cost to release, and who needs to collect it. The host may have to be involved, because the car belongs to them.
4. Keep every receipt and document.

If the tow happened because of something you did, such as illegal parking, the costs are your responsibility, including fees and related administrative costs. Seifly may charge the payment method on file for amounts you owe.
