What you can and cannot use the car for

Allowed

• Lawful personal use, such as travel, errands, and visiting family.
• Professional use that does not need a commercial driver’s license.

Not allowed without approval

Commercial, rideshare, or delivery use is only permitted if the listing expressly allows it and Seifly has approved it. Undisclosed commercial use can void your protection plan and any coverage.

Never allowed

• Driving before the trip start time or keeping the car past the end without an approved extension.
• Driving while impaired, distracted, or without a valid license.
• Breaking the law, including speeding, racing, or using the car in a crime.
• Letting an unapproved person drive.
• Leaving the car unlocked, running, or with the keys unsecured.

Listing rules

Each listing may add house rules, for example on smoking or pets. Read them before you book. Smoking in the car and bringing an undeclared pet can lead to a cleaning or smoking charge after the trip.
