Approved drivers only
Why only people added to your trip may drive, and what happens if someone else does.

Only you and the additional drivers you add through Seifly may drive the car. Each additional driver must have their own account and pass the same verification you did.
Why it is strict
Hosts agree to rent to you, and protection plans and the baseline liability coverage apply only to drivers who are verified on the trip. A driver who is not approved is a risk for the host, for you, and for everyone on the road.
If an unapproved person drives
- Your protection plan may be void.
- You can be fully responsible for any claim, loss, or damage.
- Seifly may end the trip and remove accounts.
- If the person gave a false name, a false license, or took the keys without permission, the car may be reported as stolen.
