Instant Book

Instant Book is a setting on each listing. When it is on, guests can book your car automatically, without waiting for you to approve a request. Their card is charged right away and you are notified as soon as a trip is booked.

What changes

• Guests see an Instant Book badge and a Complete Booking button instead of Request to Book.
• There is no accept or decline step. The booking is confirmed straight away.
• The cancellation policy applies from the moment the guest books, so cancelling an Instant Book trip carries the same host fees as any other confirmed trip.

Is it right for you?

Instant Book removes the waiting for guests, which can make your listing more attractive to people who need a car quickly. It works best when your calendar is accurate, your pickup hours are realistic, and you can reliably hand over the car. Guests still have to be verified before they can book.

Where to change it

The Instant Book toggle is on the last step of the listing flow, next to the submit button, and you can change it later from your listing. Turning it off affects new bookings only; trips already booked stay confirmed.
