Changing your pickup or delivery location
How to ask for a different place to meet, and what it might cost.

If your plans change, message your host as early as you can and ask for a different pickup or delivery location. Hosts set how far they will deliver, so the answer depends on the new place.
- A closer or similar place is usually easy to agree.
- A place outside the host’s delivery range may not be possible, or the host may need to change the delivery fee.
- Get the change confirmed in the trip messages so there is a record.
Changing where you meet does not restart the free-cancellation period. See Canceling a trip.
