Searching for a car

Start with a place and dates

From the home page or Search, enter where you want to get the car and the start and end of your trip. You can search an address, neighborhood, city, or airport. Results show cars that are free for your whole trip and that can be picked up near that place, or delivered to it.

Narrow your results

• Price. Compare the daily rate against the total for your dates, which includes fees.
• Vehicle type. Choose between car types such as SUVs, trucks, and luxury cars.
• Delivery. Turn on delivery to see hosts who will bring the car to you, including at airports.
• Map. Use the map to see where each car is located.

How results are ordered

Results are ranked using your search details, the car’s location, its price and details, delivery options, how closely it matches what you searched for, and the host’s ratings and reliability. Hosts cannot pay for a higher position.
