Getting your car ready for each trip
A pre-trip checklist that prevents most disputes.

- Wash and vacuum the car.
- Remove all your belongings and any firearms or other weapons.
- Fuel or charge it to the level you promised.
- Check tires, lights, and dashboard warning lights.
- Put registration and proof of insurance in the glovebox.
- Leave child seats and add-ons you listed, and note them at check-in.
- Charge your phone for photos.
