Keeping your listing accurate
What counts as misrepresentation and the consequences.
Updated October 10, 2026
Guests choose your car based on your listing. Photos, descriptions, mileage, features, and pricing must accurately reflect the vehicle.
What counts as a misrepresentation
- Photos of a different car, or old photos that no longer match.
- A wrong year, model, trim, or features.
- An odometer reading, or mileage, that isn’t true.
- A pickup location that isn’t where the car will be.
- Not disclosing a device that locates, monitors, or records.
- A price that you don’t honor.
What can happen
Misrepresenting a vehicle can lead to removal of the listing and suspension of your account. It can also void your earnings plan for a trip, even if it’s unrelated to a claim.
