Changing a license plate on your listing
Keep the plate and documents in step when you re-register or replace plates.

A listing must always show the accurate license plate and VIN. If you re-register the car or get new plates, update both the plate on the listing and your registration document.
- Open the listing from Listings and choose Edit.
- Update the license plate.
- Upload your new registration under the listing’s Documents page.
Guests and toll agencies use the plate to identify the car. If your plate changes, also update your toll accounts. See Adding your toll accounts.
