Airport delivery and local regulations
Permits, fees, and laws that may apply where you share your car.
Updated October 10, 2026
Some airports and cities require permits or fees for vehicle delivery or sharing, or have laws specific to personal vehicle sharing. You are responsible for finding out which rules apply where you offer delivery or pickup, and for following them.
- Check the airport’s website or ask the operator before you offer delivery there.
- Know where you can stop to hand over the car.
- Tell guests the right meeting point in the trip messages.
